Order vehicles online – simple and convenient

All vehicles offered in the Stock Car Finder and Used Car Finder can be conveniently ordered online. Below is all the most important information customers should know about purchasing a vehicle online.

  1. Choose a vehicle
Simply select a used vehicle in the Used Car Finder or a new vehicle that is available immediately in the Stock Car Finder. It should be noted that each vehicle is a unique product, which means that only one unit is available. However, because the vehicles are listed on multiple portals at the same time and are also offered on-site by the authorised dealers, it is never possible to fully rule out a prior sale.

  2. Fill in the order form
Simply fill in the order form and submit it online. If multiple customers have chosen the same vehicle, the customer that submitted the order form first is given the chance to purchase the vehicle.

  3. Conclude the agreement
The responsible authorised dealer will get in touch with the buyer within one working day to discuss all further steps. From this point, the vehicle is exclusively reserved for the buyer for 48 hours until the purchase agreement has been concluded. The dealer then informs the buyer about the payment process. This process must be completed before the vehicle can be registered and delivered. If, for whatever reason, the vehicle is no longer available, the dealer will contact the would-be buyer to discuss the best alternative options.

  4. Collect the vehicle
After the agreement has been signed and the vehicle has been paid for, the relevant dealer will arrange an appointment to hand over the vehicle in their dealership. To do this, the dealer will also ask for all of the information that is required to be able to register the vehicle.

FAQ

Under which conditions can customers take advantage of this offer?

The offers listed here are aimed at private persons, traders, business owners and freelance professionals. The purchase agreement is concluded upon signing of the purchase agreement by the relevant dealer.

Are the vehicles in the Stock Car Finder really new vehicles with a manufacturer’s warranty?

Yes. All of the vehicles in the Stock Car Finder are new vehicles, i.e. vehicles that have not been registered for the first time. Buyers are entitled to the full manufacturer’s warranty and guarantee. All vehicles are sold and delivered via authorised dealers based in Luxembourg.

Are the used cars in the Used Car Finder in good condition?

As the vehicles in the Used Car Finder are pre-owned vehicles, they may have some signs of use. However, these will not affect safety in any way. The relevant dealer will be more than happy to answer any questions about the condition of a vehicle.

Do the used cars in the Used Car Finder come with a warranty?

Yes. All used cars in the Used Car Finder come with a warranty period of at least one year. In many cases, the warranty period is 24 months up to a maximum of 150,000 km. The warranty period is generally specified in the vehicle details. The relevant dealer will be happy to answer any questions about the warranty that a vehicle comes with.

Is it possible to view or test drive a vehicle before purchasing it?

Customers can contact the relevant dealer to arrange a viewing or test drive of their chosen vehicle. In the case of new vehicles that are available immediately from stock, the dealer will make every effort to find a similar vehicle that is already registered for the test drive. To arrange an appointment, simply contact the Customer Relations team via email at cr@losch.lu or by calling (+352) 403333-005. Or use the live chat feature on the website, if this feature is available.

Can customers part exchange their current vehicle?

Yes. Every dealer offers customers the option to part exchange their current vehicle. However, the price offered depends on the vehicle and its condition. Therefore, customers should always contact the relevant dealer and clarify all the details related to a possible part exchange before sending off the order form.

Is an order binding?

No. No liabilities arise upon submitting an order. A liability only arises upon concluding a purchase agreement with the authorised dealer. All information related to this is listed in the general terms and conditions of the agreement, which the authorised dealer will send to the buyer.

Is the selected vehicle actually available?

We always strive to keep the database of available vehicles shown online as up to date as possible. However, because the vehicles are listed on multiple portals at the same time and are also offered on-site by the authorised dealers, it is never possible to fully rule out a prior sale. Therefore, after each order is received, the availability of the selected vehicle is promptly checked, and the responsible dealer then gets in touch with the customer. If, for whatever reason, the vehicle is no longer available, the dealer will contact the would-be buyer to discuss the best alternative options.

For how long is the vehicle reserved for the buyer?

From the point at which the responsible dealer confirms the availability of the selected vehicle, the vehicle is exclusively reserved for the buyer for 48 hours. This leaves the buyer with two working days to conclude the purchase agreement with the dealer. If no purchase agreement is concluded during this time, the reservation is cancelled.

What documentation is needed to conclude the purchase agreement?

The dealer needs a copy of the buyer’s ID card or passport, their social security number, and, in some cases, a certificate of registration.

Is a deposit required?

No. For the offers on this site, we deliberately avoid a deposit to make the purchasing process as simple as possible.

How do customers pay for the vehicle?

Before the vehicle is registered, the full vehicle price must be sent via bank transfer to the responsible dealer as a one-time payment. The dealer will provide the buyer with all the necessary information. If no payment is received, the vehicle will not be registered to the buyer and the dealer will take legal action to pursue its rightful entitlements according to the general terms and conditions.

How long before the purchased vehicle can be collected?

The vehicle is usually delivered around two weeks after the purchase agreement is concluded. We ask customers to understand that this can change depending on the number of orders the dealer has to process.

Where can the purchased vehicle be collected from?

The vehicle is handed over at the premises of the authorised dealer specified in the vehicle listing.

What should be considered with regard to the registration?

The dealer will get in touch with the buyer to obtain the documentation required to complete the registration process. It should be noted that the full payment must be sent before the vehicle can be registered to the buyer. The registration costs are not included in the vehicle price and must be paid separately.

Is it possible for customers to keep their personalised number plate?

Yes. This is generally possible. The buyer must inform the responsible dealer about this during their contact in relation to the registration and vehicle handover.
